Tasks & Accountabilities

Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Reporting
Formulate and validate the OP and annual budgets in line with product RC & NRC targets for the Business area.
Provide regular & accurate analysis on the actual and forecasted performance of the Business area to the Management Team to support decision making.
Identify and assess the risks & opportunities in co-ordination with the Leadership Team.

Financial Consultancy/ Performance Management
Support the creation of capital investment cases, validating the cash flows & EBIT savings, ensuring all agreed cases are reflected in the OP & rolling forecasts. Monitoring and challenging as necessary discretionary investment and ensure planned cash flows & NPVs are in accordance with the approved business case for the investment.
Actively participate in the operations management meetings, providing the required financial support to assist strategy development and assist with the making of informed business decisions.
Actively partake in the cost Improvement projects, ensuring the alignment of the resulting actions across the Business area.
Promote financial awareness and provide financial guidance to managers and their respective teams and ensure adequate processes exist for stringent financial controls.

Financial Controls / Processes
Ensure that there is consistency, transparency and accuracy of all financial information.
Ensure rigorous processes are in place to maintain data integrity and guarantee accuracy of reported RC and NRC actual & forecast information.
Ensure compliance of processes to Airbus International Financial Control Standards.
Support the continuous improvement of deployed financial processes and procedures through proactive participation of Projects in support of the Finance route map .

Job Description
To provide reliable and robust Financial expertise to the Leadership Team in terms of financial data and operation business support. The responsibilities include;
developing and maintaining a strong business partnership with the Business Leader and the Leadership Team founded upon Financial Controlling first principals and the Operational business requirements and priorities.
supporting the plant and business area with R.I.F & Make v Buy projects through the provision of financial data for the business case(s).
assessment of risk & opportunities related to current and future RC and NRC costs.
Supporting and deputising for Business Leader in site meetings when required through a business partnering approach.
