Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work as part of a team in our busy accounts department and to also provide occasional reception cover. This is a full time permanent position.

The main duties are:

Open, date stamp all incoming accounts post and distribute as necessary
Data entry on our in-house admin database and Pegasus Opera accounts system, principally basic purchase processing
Day to day contact with suppliers as necessary
Checking supplier statements
Fill vending machine on a daily basis
General/accounts filing as required
Provide holiday and sickness cover on our reception desk including answering calls, greeting visitors, managing meeting room bookings, arranging refreshments, assisting staff with travel arrangements, collection and despatch of goods from the reception area etc.
PA for Group CFO:
Dealing with correspondence and phone calls
Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments
Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
Collating and filing expenses

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Previous experience in data entry in Pegasus Opera accounts system is desirable
Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English
